ghostMix

DropMix, a music-mixing game by Harmonix and Hasbro, was a great title with fun mechanics and absolutely gorgeous card art. Unfortunately, once the servers for the game are shut down the cards won't be much good for anything but looking at. This epistolary game is an attempt to create a second life for those cards.

ghostMix is a remix of Marx Shepherd's ghostbox game, which uses the standard French-suited 52 card deck. ghostMix was created for Marx's dead letters jam in late 2022 and, like ghostbox, is distributed under a CC BY-SA 4.0 license.
