PAX Unplugged and other things
PAX Unplugged was pretty awesome this year. I think I attended more panels than usual, including the "Make a Strip" panel, which doubled as the 20th anniversary panel for PAX and we all got birthday hats. This is the event I got to sent to Whamhalla at, but it seems like they pulled this shit all weekend.
I also went to both SUSD panels, the Design a Board Game panel, the Acquisitions Incorporated show on Friday, the Paul and Storm/Jonathan Coulton concert on Saturday, and played a bunch of games in between. In fact, you can read a brief review I wrote of one of them over on BoardGameGeek.
So, I was tempted to rant about Whamhalla on BlueSky, but opted instead to make a zine. I really enjoy writing things and then designing a cute little booklet for them to live in. I have another in the works soon about an entirely different (but still game-related) thing, and I hope to get that out by the end of the month.
